So it feels like things are looking up.
(in some parts of life)
Me and jim split and im happy.
Now im dating a wonderful guy named Jamie.
He's a soldier, and our relationship just works.
I just dont have it in me to date someone who doesnt know
how my life was, how it works or how to make it work.
The military is my life.
I grew up around the military because of my dad.
I dated men that were like my dad: strong, proud, honorable, and brave.
My life works the way it does. Im used to people being gone for months at a time, not clinging to me like im going to never be there again.
Never again will i date a catholic guy, *shudders* it just doesnt work. Me and jim are from two totally different worlds and his world is just to sheltered for me. He doesnt think for himself and he worries about what others think about him.
That gets so frustrating.

Jamie is supportive of what i want to do, and is pushing me to finish school and even go back for my Bachelors in Psychology. That would be fine for me, having two Bachelor degress wouldn't bother me one bit XD. But im going to take a break before i go back to school. I dont want to go to grad school, not for a few years. I want to see what the job market is like for people in my field of art before i make the bankrupting choice to go back to school. Lol
He's even asked me where i'd like to go when he gets PCSed so that i can go with him. I thought that wa mighty sweet but that's up to him. Japan is one option he has, and i can't lie going to japan and living there for a few years would be freaking awesome.
As far as art is concered, i'm working on a black and white portrait of my brothers friend Ak. I've got 4 weeks to finish it before he comes back from India. Hmmm time crunch, i work pretty well under pressure. XD Uptades and progress photos to come.
